The Capital University football coaching staff will hold a Coaches Clinic for high school coaches on Friday and Saturday, April 12 and 13, at Bernlohr Stadium.

Coaches in attendance will have a chance to work with first-year head coach Craig Candeto and his offensive and defensive staff. Participants are invited to practice Friday at 3:45 p.m. and attend meetings and practice starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday.

The clinic will take place from 1-5 p.m. following the conclusion of the Crusaders' practice. Cost is $30 if preregistered and $40 as a walk-in. Checks can be made payable to the Capital Football Association and mailed, with registration form, to Matt Kelleher, Capital Center, 1 College and Main, Columbus, OH, 43209.

Attendees will have a chance to be introduced to the team's triple option offense and defensive schemes with Candeto and his four assistant coaches.

Candeto, who was hired in December, is a former standout quarterback at Navy, where he was a fighter pilot following his playing days. Most recently, he served as an assistant coach at The Citadel, a military college in South Carolina and a member of the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).
