For the second time this season, Capital University sophomore Robert Fravel has been named Ohio Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week, the league announced Monday, April 8.

Fravel, a right-hander from Port Clinton, Ohio, allowed just one unearned run and struck out a career-high eight batters in Capital's 3-1 victory at Ohio Northern last Tuesday. He allowed just three hits and one walk in the complete-game win, his third triumph of the season against jut one loss.

For the season, Fravel leads the team with a 2.62 earned run average and 19 strikeouts in 24.0 innings pitched.

Fravel also garnered OAC Player of the Week honors on March 25 after a complete-game shutout in a 1-0 win at Ohio Christian on March 23. He scattered five hits and four walks while striking out four in the contest.

Each week, OAC coaches and sports information directors nominate student-athletes for each sport in season for the award.
