2012 OCSA NCAA Division III Women's All-Ohio Teams
Two members of the Capital University women's soccer team were named to the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association NCAA Division III Women's Soccer All-Ohio teams, the organization announced this week.
Junior goalkeeper Maggie Donnellan (Cincinnati, Ohio) was picked to the first team, while senior forward Natalie Fiorelli (Pickerington, Ohio) earned third team accolades. The Crusaders finished the season with a 10-8-2 overall record and finished third in the Ohio Athletic Conference with a 5-3-1 mark. The team reached the conference tournament quarterfinals before it was eliminated on penalty kicks by John Carroll.
Donnellan enjoyed a second straight OAC Goalkeeper of the Year campaign in 2012, posting a 9-8-2 record with a pair of shutouts and a 0.98 goals against average. A first team All-OAC selection and second team All-Great Lakes region pick, Donnellan also finished among league leaders in saves (73) and save percentage (.802). She has been named All-OAC in all three of her seasons at Capital.
Fiorelli, a fifth-year senior, wrapped up her stellar career as the team's leader in goals (nine) and points (18) after playing in all 20 matches, including eight starts. She tied for the team lead with two game-winning goals and led the team in shots (33) and shots on goal (26). A two-time All-OAC selection and three-time Academic All-OAC award winner, Fiorelli was also a member of the All-Ohio third team in 2011.
The OCSA is a division of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Fifty five institutions in Ohio are members, including NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, junior college and NCCAA schools.
